!Please, just because I have more prompts or more to say a prompt doesn’t mean I want it more, it just means that I have more to say. I want all of these equally!

Also, as a reminder, if none of these prompts appeal to you or line up with ideas you have, feel free to go with your ideas. If something I’ve written for one pairing inspires you for another, go with it, feel free to combine prompts if there are some that you think work perfectly together. These are just here to give you a jumping off point and are optional details. I’d much rather you write what you’re enthusiastic about rather than feeling the need to write something that matches what I’m asking for as perfectly as possible. I really want you to have fun writing for me.

F/F(/F+) Ships

•  Bigfoot-Type Ape-Woman/Cryptozoologist: I’m here for all of the adorableness and fluff with this one. First meetings, day to day interactions between an established couple, anything goes. Tell me about these two, if it odd for the ape woman to fall in love with a human? Does she have friends of her own species and do they know? What do they think of the relationship? Alternately, what’s it like for the cryptozoologist, does she need to keep the relationship a secret? Does that leave her feeling conflicted because isn’t proof that bigfoot is real something she’d want to share? What’s bigfoot culture like and how does it compare to human culture? This prompt leaves me with so many questions and I’d love to see your answers to them.

•  Backwoods Cult Leader/Her Bigfoot Lover: As above, but with added elements of mysticism and occult. Is it necessary for leaders of this particular cult to have a bigfoot lover? Was it part of some ritual to secure her station? Is it a peaceful cult? Is the bigfoot a protector? I can see this being set in our world in the modern day, sometime in history, or in a complete fantasy setting, but at the same time what would this be like on an alien planet? Are the cultists part of a lost colony? Is the bigfoot an alien native to the planet? Or is she from a different planet as well, working to bridge the gap between the two peoples?

•  Sapient Bonobo Matriarch/Her Human Princess Bride: This is so absolutely adorable! I love the implication that the bonobo is older than the princess, a kindly old matriarch welcoming a frightened stranger to her people. Tell me about the day to day lives of these two, the differences in their cultures, anything and everything about them. I’d love to know about their relationship, but the story behind it fascinates me as well. Was it out of love despite the difference in age and species? Was it political?  

•  Merwoman Curious About Humans/Pirate Who Can't Find a Crew: The idea of a curious mermaid fascinates me. Is she interested in humans in general, or is it this specific pirate that has captured her attention. And why can’t this pirate find a crew? Did she have one and then lose them all in some horrific (or comical, I’m totally up for humor with this pairing) incident. Did she never have a crew to begin with and if so how is she even a pirate then? Does the mermaid help her with this problem, recruiting her a crew of mermaids and mythical creatures, or does the pirate give up on her ambitions and retire to a quiet life by the sea. Also, I really love unusual mermaids based on different kinds of fish so if you’ve always wanted to write about really crazy mermaids this is your chance. Think deep sea fish, lionfish, oarfish, hammerhead sharks, gobies (I think they’re adorable), squid, octopuses, or anything else. Basically I love all forms of sea creatures.

•  Lighthousekeeper/Mermaid whose life she saves: Lighthouses are an awesome setting, so remote, isolated and with such a sense of duty placed upon the keeper. Stormy nights, crashing waves, the occasional ship passing in the distance of a rocky, isolated coast. The lighthousekeeper must be so lonely. Are the mermaids company to her or does she just see them in the distance? Or does she not see them at all until one day… How does she come to save the mermaid? Are they friends immediately after that or is the relationship slow growing? My above comments about unusual mermaids applies to this as well, so might the keeper be frightened when she first encounters the mermaid, recognizing that she needs help and overcoming her fear?

•  Lighthousekeeper/Mermaid who saves her life: The above, but with who saves who reversed.

•  Mermaid/Ape-Woman:  Adorable, interspecies relationships here please, possibly with a side of exploring their different cultures. Are they two cryptids who find that’s enough in common to start a relationship? Do humans exist on the world they inhabit? How did they first meet given the different environments they call home? Do they manage to live together or is it just occasional visits?

•  Werewolf Princess/Her Bodyguard: Was the princess always a werewolf and if so why does she need a bodyguard? Is it normal for royalty here to be werewolves or other were creatures and is the bodyguard human or something else? Or was the princess bitten or cursed? Is that why she needs a bodyguard? Did the bodyguard know what she was getting into when she ended up with the job or was it something she discovered after a time? What does being the bodyguard of a werewolf princess entail? I’m kind of just hoping for two badass women, in love, going on awesome adventures here, but humor, absolutely sappy romance, or even outright horror is also fine by me.

•  Local Legend And Resident Secret Werewolf/Townee Who Tries To Befriend Her: I’m looking for tooth rotting fluff here, two lonely people finding a way to connect and being happier for it. In what way is the werewolf a local legend and does it have anything to do with their being a werewolf? Maybe I’m in a fantasy mood here, but for some reason I was imagining the legend having nothing to do with them being a werewolf and instead them being a retired hero or something along those lines, someone who’s an outsider for one reason or another and unable to connect with the rest of townsfolk. Alternately, go wild and put this in a sci-fi or similar setting to really mix things up. Setting and time period is up to you so feel free to get creative.

•  Monster School Classmate/Monster School Classmate: Okay, I’m looking for adorable interspecies relationships again here, with a side of high school awkwardness thrown in for added adorableness. You can go with any kind of monsters here, though I’d prefer them being of different kinds - I’m a sucker for interspecies relationships and drastically different individuals finding a way to make things work. I’d prefer not to have excessive angst, beyond the sort that teenagers feel when worrying over their secret or not-so-secret crush, but their relationship doesn’t need to be perfect and without trouble. Maybe it’s find that they’re both girls, but the fact that they’re different kinds of monsters is frowned upon. Or maybe monsters are so rare that none of that matters and it’s just great that they found each other. If you want to, feel free to be creative with the kinds of monsters they are or make something up entirely of your own creation. With me and monsters the less human the better.

•  Masochistic Demon/Reluctantly Sadistic Devil Worshiper: This was not what she expected when she summoned a demon. She’d expected there to be violence, bloodshed and horrors, but she never imagined that she’d be inflicting them on the being she summoned or that said being would enjoy it so much. Horror as the devil worshiper falls deeper and deeper into alluring depravity would be awesome, but at the same time I’m not opposed to humor with them just being the ultimate odd couple. The demon can be as human or inhuman as you like. I like my demons to be really, really strange, but please, stick with what you’d enjoy writing the most.

•  Magician Who Accidentally Summons Demon/Demon Who Is Not All That Evil Really: Humor, or just oddly practical demons would be very much appreciated. Maybe like one of the demons from the Key of Solomon, this particular demon just offers boons to the one who summons it and this develops into a working relationship and then more. Go wild with how you chose for the demon to appear, focus on the process of summoning, magical rituals, or whatever other aspects you want. This is a situation where worldbuilding is as interesting to me as the relationship.

•  Space Freighter Captain/Woobie Lizard Alien on the Run: I’m in the mood for scifi and possibly humor with this one. Woobie is kind of relative by species I’d assume and a woobie lizard alien might still be horrifying to humans, making their story all the more tragic. What are they on the run from? How did they end up on this particular ship – did they pay their way onboard, stowaway in the cargo hold? Are they hiding in the vent system leading to pretty typical horror movie situation until they’re caught and the whole story of why they’re there comes out? And how did the captain end up falling for them? Did she always have a thing for space lizards, or did this one win her over in some way. As always, feel free to make the lizard alien as horrifying and monstrous as you want. I love monsters. Also, this thought just came to me, alien courtship rituals and a human’s response to them. How do alien lizards show that they’re into someone that way?

•  Human Warrior Queen/Alien Harem She Just Won: Again with the badass women, this time a queen with a whole harem of them, or so I’d like. Did she win this harem in combat? A battel or wits? Tell me about the fight, the victory, and the prize, of course. Make the aliens as varied as you want, representing as many or as few species as you wish. I’m cool with pure smut, with group sex, one-on-one with a particular favorite, anything. Or world building and characterization, development of the setting with sex being implied or of the ‘fade to black’ persuasion. It’s all good to me as long as there are badass women being awesome.

 

M/M(/M+) Ships

•  Monster School Classmate/Monster School Classmate: Yes, a repeat of the F/F request, but with monsterboys. Everything from the F/F version applies to this as well, but either using or subverting male stereotypes rather than female. Feel free to focus on classes and what monsters are expected to learn in school as well as the social expectations each monster has as much as the established or growing relationship. Worldbuilding is fun, but so is adorableness.

•  Merman Curious About Humans/Pirate Who Can't Find a Crew: A repeat of the F/F version above because I couldn’t pick just one.

•  Lighthousekeeper/Merman whose life he saves: A repeat of the F/F version above because I couldn’t pick just one. Same prompts and ideas apply.

•  Merman/Ape-Man: A repeat of the F/F version above because I couldn’t pick just one. Same prompts and ideas apply. I just love loving relationships between members of different species.

•  Monstrous Entity/The Monstrous Entity Who Created Him: I’m seeing this one as being horror. How does sex work between these creatures is one angle to approach this from, but so is the fact that one of these creatures created the other. Is it a twisted sort of father/son relationship, or was the one made purely for the pleasure of the other? Does he accept this or resent his situation? When I say monstrous I mean monstrous, feel free to go all out in the descriptions and if you’re in the mood for worldbuilding or characterization, feel free to go into the aspects of the creation process and why.

•  Catboy/New Owner Operating Off Questionable Care Guides: I’m thinking fluff and humor with this request. I can’t get it out of my mind that there’s a helpful, but longsuffering catboy trying to help his all too excited and eager to please new owner do things right. Does the new owner have misconceptions based on bad advice or simple ignorance? Is his view of how to treat the catboy colored too much by ideas on how to treat boys or how to treat cats? How does the catboy help him through this? Or for added silliness, maybe they’re both equally clueless about the situation with the catboy never having had an owner before and acting based on his own misconceptions. Do they manage to get things hashed out okay in the end or does the fic end with the two of them happily bumbling along together, confident that they’ll eventually get things right? It’s up to you and whatever direction you take things in I’ll be thrilled if you chose to write this for me.

•  Local Legend And Resident Secret Werewolf/Townee Who Tries To Befriend Him: A repeat of the F/F version above because I couldn’t pick just one. Same prompts and ideas apply.

•  Lost Hiker/Pack of Werewolves: Horror with gang rape at the end is one way of approaching this, with the hiker blissfully unaware that they’re being stalked until the werewolves chase them down. I don’t want the hiker killed by the pack, but anything short of that would be awesome. Alternately, the hiker could have been seeking the werewolf pack out, wanting to join them and getting more than they bargained for. It’s a fun prompt with a lot of potential and I’m curious to see your take on it.

•  Male Human/Male Last Member of an Alien Species That Can Get Mpregnant By Any Species: I saw this prompt and the potential for feels is so strong that I had to ask for it. There’s such a sense of tragedy – why is the alien the last member of his species? Does he think that maybe he can save his kind and restart the species by this relationship or is he simply in love with this human and wants someone to be with? Tell me about the alien’s species, his culture, and why this particular human. And the human, how does he feel about the alien’s situation, does he even know? All of the feels would be greatly appreciated here.

•  Male Human Intergalactic Emperor/Male Alien General Who Can Get Mpregnant: This prompt fascinated me because of the kind of back story it implies. Is the general a servant of the emperor? The leader of a rival, defeated power and this is him being disgraced or is it part of a ritual to establish peace? Is there a political reason to the relationship or is it simply that they’re in love? Is the fact that the alien can get mpregnant an important part of their relationship or is it just an added bonus? Alternately, was the emperor even aware that his lover was capable of getting pregnant and how did he feel upon discovering it? Is he shocked that he’s going to be a father, nervous, excited?

 

Mixed Gender Ships

•  Mermaid/Young Male Pirate Lost At Sea (F/M): Is the mermaid saving the pirate, taking advantage of him? Why is she interested in the pirate to begin with? Was she following his ship or was it pure chance that she came across him? Also, how did he end up lost at sea? Was his ship sank in a battle, was he shipwrecked in a storm, did he fall overboard or was he thrown overboard for some reason? Any background and world building that you want to include is fine by me, so if you have an idea that’s hundreds of words of characterization, world building and setup followed by a few lines about them being in a relationship or having sex don’t worry. If you really want to focus on the mermaid, feel free to make her really inhuman, either in appearance or worldview. And along those lines, if you want to focus on inhuman biology with the mermaid and the mechanics of the act between her and the pirate go for it! Like with all my prompts, I want you to have fun writing this the way you want.

•  Adventurer on a quest/Monstergirl he doesn't realize is the Kidnapped Princess (Mixed): This is one of those pairings where feel like the ship is the prompt. How did the adventurer not realize that they’ve rescued a princess? Were they unaware that the princess was a monstergirl when they were sent out to rescue her, or was the rescue purely by chance? Is it because they don’t realize that monsters have princesses and she never mentioned it? Does the princess reveal her secret or not? Heck, maybe the adventurer didn’t rescue her, just hired her as extra muscle on the unrelated quest they’re in the middle of. Feel free to make the princess really inhuman if you want. With this pairing I’m up for adventures, sex, sexy adventures, humor, anything. Just give me a monstergirl princess. The more emphasis on the monster aspect the better, but please, don’t feel boxed in by that. If you’ve got a great idea that works best with her being a cute girl with horns, ears and a tail or something like that please run with it!

•  Badass Witch/Werewolf Who Owes Her a Life Debt (F/M):  This prompt had me at badass witch. I’m in the mood for badass women right now and the prompt, to me at least implies that she rescued the werewolf from something. So yeah, I was thinking badass woman who surprised a huge, fearsome monster by saving his life as the situation. Of course if you’ve got a different idea, go with it! There’s so much potential, either for wild sex with a shapeshifter, the story of how they met, or just the two of them in an established relationship going on adventures together. Setting, time period, and genre don’t matter to me with this one so feel free to go wild with those aspects of the story.

•  Female Character/Stray Dog She Rescued Who Turns Out To Be A Werewolf (F/M):  I was thinking cute and fluffy with this one, a heartwarming story of friendship growing into something more as she realizes that the abnormally intelligent dog she’s rescued is something more until he trusts her enough to reveal her secret. But, of course there’s the equally fun route where she realizes that the stray dog she’s brought into her house is unnervingly intelligent and does decidedly undog-like things until the big reveal where he has his way with her. I’m a creature of extremes, tooth-rotting sweetness or full on horror would make me equally happy.

•  Space Freighter Captain/Woobie Lizard Alien on the Run (F/M):  A repeat of the F/F version above because I couldn’t pick just one. Seriously, so many of these are so good that not asking for all iterations felt wrong.

•  Human Warrior Queen/Alien Harem She Just Won (F/F & F/M): A repeat of the F/F version above because I couldn’t pick just one and this one gives the potential for even more crazy alien biology and anatomy.

•  Goddess/Submissive Demon (F/M): Okay, this one really fascinates me because it’s left ambiguous if she’s an evil goddess or not. I’d love seeing something between an evil goddess and her loyal minion or a creature she summoned for her amusement because what better way to satisfy your every dark desire than with a demon bound to you for the task? On the other hand, he’s a submissive demon, so is that just what he likes in sex or is it an innate trait of his? Is she a warrior goddess that lost a battle with and now must serve? Is she an innately good goddess of light or healing or mercy and he’s submitting himself to her in an effort to escape some horrific punishment his darker masters have planned for him? Or is it just because the two of them are in love and the good or evil aspects of their natures are irrelevant? Go wild with your ideas on demons, what they are, what they look like and whether they’re purely evil or just misunderstood.

•  Adventuress/Pack of Wolfmen she Underestimated (Mixed): I like that this is a mixed ship because that opens up the possibility that the pack of wolfmen is a mixed gender pack. I’m a sucker for female characters being rapists so you’d make my day if the adventuress is surprised to discover that the leader of the wolfman pack is female. Sex is all well and good, but so is setup and if you want to write about what the adventuress was doing in the pack’s territory, how and why exactly she underestimated them and if wolfmen are different from werewolves, feel free to. I really, really want to see your take on this prompt!

•  Dominant Goddess/Her Submissive Mpregnant God Husband (F/M): I’m here for the reversal of gender roles and the potential pantheon building with this one. Also, a doting wife doing what she knows is best for her pregnant husband sounds so fun – the dominant and submissive aspects of the characters really got my attention here. Gods getting pregnant isn’t without precedence in in mythology, but it’s such a fascinating thing. Is it unusual for gods in their pantheon to get pregnant or is this just business as usual? I’d love a scene delving into the relationship between this seeming odd couple, but if you want to get into backstory, feel free to go into how the relationship came to be, what they’re goddess and god of, or the whole pantheon they’re a part of.

•  Dragon/Princess Seeking Protection for her People (Mixed): Is the princess doing this out of duty, desperation? Is it normal for dragons to help people or is this dragon an exception? Does the princess have reason to think this will work or has she exhausted every other option she can think of? And what do her people need protection from, an invading army? Some natural disaster? The dragon itself and she’s trying to placate it in the only way she can think of? Feel free to have the dragon able to shapeshift or not, however would be most fun for you to write, and if the princess needs to be creative in handling her end of the bargain that only makes things all the more fun. I’m up for all the plot or porn without plot, anything you want.

•  Enthusiastic Cultist/Shy Eldritch Abomination (Mixed): This is another great humor prompt. Why is the eldritch abomination shy? Was it not expecting to be summoned by someone looking for a good time? Has it been thrown off its game by being invited on a date rather than being asked to messily devour enemies of the cult that worships it? Humor, humor and horror combines, silly fluff of the two of them having a night out on the town, anything goes. And while I’ll never say no to tentacles, if you have different ideas about how mortal eyes might see this particular eldritch entity go for it.

 

Miscellaneous Ships

•  Villagers by Day & Monsters by Night/Human Tied Up in Stocks for Public Use (Various/Any):  I’m asking for this purely for the porn. However or why ever the human ended up in their predicament isn’t important to me, though feel free to have fun coming up with the situation. Were they in the wrong place at the wrong time, are they being punished for a crime that they might not have even committed? Anything goes for the reasoning and the same applies to the monsters. Any kind or kinds of monsters are awesome, using their victim one at a time or as many as possible at once. Make it messy, make it awful, make it whatever you think is hottest. Go crazy with inhuman anatomy and the victim’s response to the whole situation - do they hate it, do they love it? Do these monsters have pheromones that make them irresistible to their human victims? All I ask is that their human toy either escapes at the end, is let go, or isn’t let go and survives for another night of fun. Worth mentioning is that I’m doubly serious about not having any DNWs beyond killing the protagonist. Any kink that you consider opt-in, but really, really want to write, I’m not just opting in, but I’m enthusiastically opting in for it in the exact way you want to write it. That thing you’re wondering about? I’m asking for it and will be so thrilled if you decide to write it for me!

•  Monsters/Gladiator in Monster-Fighting Arena (Other/Any):  I was thinking violent rape in front of a cheering audience here, but if you have a different idea, such as the events in the arena are as staged as modern professional wrestling, please, go for it! Any kind of monsters in any kind of setting are great. Ground it in history, go full on science fiction and set this in the future on an alien planet, anything. Heck, if you want the gladiator doesn’t need to be human either. I just want violence and monsters and sex. Number and gender of the monsters doesn’t matter to me, just that there are monsters. Worth mentioning is that I’m doubly serious about not having any DNWs beyond killing the protagonist. Any kink that you consider opt-in, but really, really want to write, I’m not just opting in, but I’m enthusiastically opting in for it in the exact way you want to write it. That thing you’re wondering about? I’m asking for it and will be so thrilled if you decide to write it for me! All of it, in front of a cheering audience, loving the brutality and the spectacle!

•  Tentacle Monster Disguised as Air Plant/Terrarium Designer (Other/Any): Tiny terrarium tentacle monster! Are they a plant tentacle monster or an animal one? Why are they disguised as an air plant? Is mimicry to protect them or to help them find a victim? I really, really, just want terrariums and humorously small, but determined tentacle monsters here. Imagine something less than a foot tall, tentacular and determined to ravish a human. Or was it just trying to hide and the tentacle fun that follows it’s frustration at being found out? Humor is a plus with this one, but I’m a terrible person, with a horrible sense of humor so for me surprise tentacles, rape and even oviposition is a great punchline. Oh, thinking of that, maybe the tentacle monster is so small that the terrarium designer doesn’t even realize what’s going on and just wakes up in the morning, thinking that they’ve been having the strangest dreams until the effects of the creature’s nightly efforts begin to show. It’s up to you what those effects are, but go wild. I love anything that’s even remotely body horror and I’m not kidding with having no DNWs beyond protagonist death.

•  Human with Forbidden Monsterfucking Desires/Monster with Forbidden Humanfucking Desires (Any/Other):  Humor and feels, or just humor or just feels. I want to read this story of forbidden love. Do the monster and human know of the other’s desires, is that why they hook up, or is it something that somehow happens in mutual ignorance? Is the monster a succubus or incubus so it’s expected they fuck to feed and corrupt their victims, not for fun where the human participant is left unharmed? Are they something truly horrific that really kinks on how humans have smooth skin, hair in such odd places, no tentacles, claws, and so few limbs and eyes?

•  Human/Violent Alien Symbiote that bonds to Them (Misc):  Yes, I’m asking for this for all sorts of fun xeno potential, but I specifically love that it’s a violent alien symbiote. That has me really curious about the circumstances of the bond. Was it out of necessity for one or the other, a business decision, an accident? How does the human half of the equation have issues with the alien’s tendencies, or do they manage to make things work? Also, the mechanics of a relationship with something that’s bonded to you in one way or another. Is it sex as we know it, something akin to mutual masturbation, something that’s mostly mental with pheromones adding to the pleasure? Or skip the sex aspect and write an adventure that these two go on or how they first met. Is the alien expected to bond with someone? Did they want to? Is it unusual to bond with a human? And what’s the human’s profession, is it one helped or hindered by being bonded with an aggressive alien? I mean for a space mercenary that’s probably awesome, but for a baker in a small town, wanting to live a quiet life might not be so thrilled by the partnership. On the other hand a barista in a coffee shop dealing with a difficult customer it might make the day better.

•  Changeling/Human They Replaced (Other/Any): With this I was thinking a situation of mutual respect or curiosity. After all they switched places with each other and both had a lot of adjusting to do, living in a world where they’re acutely aware of the fact that they don’t belong. Did they grow up parallel to each other, eventually meeting and finally discovering someone who understands them or did they frequently sneak visits when they were young, a friendship blossoming into something more. Depending on how you want to do this, you don’t need to focus on the relationship, you can just have them be friends if the idea strikes your fancy. Any time period, any setting is good for me. Worldbuilding is always a plus – I’d be really curious about both of them adjusting to their new lives or changeling society in general.

 

Mixed Gen & Ship

•  Monster Parent/Human Parent & Their Hybrid Child (Gen & Ship): For this I’m fine with focus on the gen aspect or the ship aspect. What drew me to this prompt was the family dynamic aspect. How do you sit a hybrid kid down and have the talk with them when the talk might be different for both halves of the equation? Or is the kid still too young to realize that they’re not a full human (or a full monster depending on how society is)? Are monsters obviously so or do they only reveal their true forms on certain occasions. Angst or fluff, adorable family feels or difficult times and discussions, anything’s awesome. You can use any type of monster you can think of for this, or come up with a kind entirely of your own creation. Setting this in any genre, time period or setting is awesome. I really want to be surprised in this exchange!

•  Human Woman/Male Alien She Married & His Alien Family She Now Belongs To (F/M & Multi): For this I’m fine with focus on the gen aspect or the ship aspect. Why did the marriage happen? Love, politics, part of a cultural exchange to bring humanity into the galaxy as a whole. I’d love if the human and alien are in love, but if it’s an arranged marriage or done out of necessity that works too, especially if they’re both determined to make things work. As for the alien family, do they approve of the marriage? Are they fascinated or horrified by humans? Do they possess shocking or hilarious misconceptions about humans and how willing is she to help them learn? It can be exasperating answering what should be simple, yet surprisingly rude questions about basic human biology after all.

•  Human Woman/Female Alien She Married & Alien Family She Now Belongs To (F/F & Multi): For this I’m fine with focus on the gen aspect or the ship aspect. Like the above, but F/F for added fun. Ladies in love, ladies marrying for political reasons or societal expectations. Is it more unusual that the alien is marrying a woman or a human? Are same sex relationships the norm in this alien society to the point where the human stereotype of heterosexuality is shocking to them? Are these aliens more or less sexually dimorphic than humans to the point where telling who’s who creates the potential for humorous or embarrassing situations?

•  Mortal/God & Their Demigod Child (Any/Any & Any): For this I’m fine with focus on the gen aspect or the ship aspect. What is the god(dess) the deity of? Tell me about their pantheon, how they’re worshiped, anything you want. And the human, are they a champion? A chosen one? A priest(ess)? Which parent gave birth to the child and which one raised it? Were they able to do so together, or did their different duties keep them apart. As for the child, what is it like growing up half divine? Are there certain expectations? How do they feel about those expectations? Do they ever wish they were fully mortal or divine? Humor, angst, adventure, worldbuilding and creation of mythology, all are fin in this. Set this in any genre, time or place that is pleasing to you!

 

Gen (Stuff without Ships)

•  Friendly Monster & Orphan Children It's Protecting (Any & Any):  Oh my goodness, this is adorable! I want found family is such a fun adorable concept and this works perfectly for that. Why are the children orphans? Did something terrible happen? And what kind of monster is this? Are the kids afraid? How does it win their trust so it can care for them? Or did it adopt them when they were too young to remember anything else? Does the monster know much about humans or is it learning as it goes? Did it adopt the kids because it wanted to be a parent or did it just find the kids and feel bad for them? Is it able to appear human or is it always inhuman in appearance? Maybe it’s just me, but a gigantic feral werewolf, or similarly (or even more so) inhuman creature, with a group of kids it’s raising strikes me as adorable, but at the same time, something that can pass as human making the effort to do so for the sake of its adopted family is just as endearing.

•  Human & Alien They Telepathically Bonded To End A War (Any & Any): A bond like that is a lot of responsibility, were they both willing and enthusiastic participants, was it done out of a sake of duty, or for incomprehensibly alien motives? What started the war? Why will these two bonding end it and what do they need to do now that they’ve bonded? Do they have families of their own that are affected by the situation? Alien and human interaction, cultural exploration and similar themes are what I was thinking of when I saw this prompt, but if you’ve got different ideas go for it!

•  Human & Alien They Accidentally Telepathically Bonded To (Any & Any): How do you even have an accident like that? Alien technology? Aspects of their minds that neither was aware of at the time? An experiment that they both agreed to participate in that didn’t work as expected? I’d love humor with this as the two of them figure out what the bond means and learn more about each other and their respective cultures in the process.

•  Human & Alien Child They Adopted (Any & Any): Does this take place on earth? Another different planet? Was it a formalized adoption or something that happened due to circumstances? The notion of ‘alien child ends up on earth and is raised by a human family’ or something similar is very much the start of a superhero story, so if you want to take that route go for it! I’m always up for superhero stories. How different from humans is the alien child? Does this make raising them difficult? Is the human ready for the challenge or are they learning as they go?

•  Alien Family & Human Adult They Adopted For Reasons (Any & Any): I like this prompt for the cultural and worldbuilding potential. Why do the aliens adopt the adult human? Is this a common thing or is this human the first? Is the human studying the aliens? A settler on their planet? How does the adoption benefit both the aliens and the human and how does everyone feel about it? I’d love this as a cultural exploration of an alien species, the farther removed from humans in terms of mindset and appearance the better, but feel free to run with any ideas you have.

•  Human Child & Alien Child Growing Up In Same Multi-Species Settlement (Any & Any): I’d just love friendship and childhood nostalgia here, kids being kids, except one of them isn’t human and it’s all happening on another planet. Are such friendships common? It’s a mixed species settlement, so are there a lot of other species there too? Are the human and their friend the only members of their respective species and that’s where they find common ground? How different and how similar are the different species of the settlement and how aware of it are the children? Is this just life as usual for them or is one or the other a new arrival being shown around?

•  Fallen Angel & Angel Helping Them Un-Fall (Any & Any): How does an angle fall and how do they un-fall? Why did they decide to try and redeem themselves, was it their own idea or was it at the prompting of the other angle? Are the two of them friends? Did they know each other before the one fell? Does the angle need to perform tasks to redeem themselves or is there something else? How does the other angle help them along the way? I know that angles can be depicted as pretty strange looking, so if you want to go with that please do!
